The Meeting of the Young (dahlia)

Ren sighed as the gummi ship started to lift up. "Okay I guess I went a little to far with the lie and the whole 'your true self'." Ren said as she noticed the silence. She pressed some buttons as the screen flashed 'autopilot' and she turned to him. "Valentine Lyle. I guess that really did upset you."

His eyes were now staring at the floor. His eyes weren't as wide now, but did continued to cry heavily. Thin fingers rans along the owlet's feathered head as one could finally hear him breathe but that wasn't much of a comfort as his body was splayed over the chair giving him a mangled look. Eyes of palest pink looked up unto Ren's the pain, depression, and silented screams of a child for nights on end were seen. He didn't speak as his eyes alone could talk for him. Lies are what turned him into this weak, fragile form. The lies of 'there won't be any pain' and 'we won't leave you alone with the Novan' left his heart scarred and holes in his mentality.

Ren looked at him with concern as she got out of the chair and hugged him. "Sh.. calm down Lyle." She whispered as she patted his head like her mother used to do when she would start to cry. Ren hoped that maybe that might help, a mother's touch. Even though she wasn't his mother.

His frame stilled as he was hugged by the little girl.his mind finally seemed to become active again when he suddenly wrapped his arms around her and pulling her in close. He cloaked his wings around the both of them as he finally let out a word. It seemed weak and almost faded, but it proved Lyle was there.
"s-s-sor...r-r-ry..."
His eyes were shut now and no longer crying. He almost seemed afraid to look at her.

"It's fine." She said as she petted his head like he was a dog and held him. "Everything is alright now." Ren then moved herself where she was looking at his face. "Now come on, smile." She gave a small smile, hoping to get one in return.

he looked at her face and still had some of those darker emotions in them but for the most part he was there again. when she asked him to smile he was somewhat confused but went along with it. his lips pulled at the edges with a slight twitch as his smile came out somewhat distorted for some reason. HE then spoke again but it seemed he could only say one word sentences at the moment.
"...O-o-ok..."

She giggled a bit at the twitching smile as she moved her hands to pull his smile to a grin with her fingers. "There we go." She giggled a bit as she patted his cheek and then hugged him. "That's better, right?"

he felt a bit uncomfortable that Ren was pushing his lips into a smile, but just giggled it off. he nodded his head in agreement as he rubbed his cheeks from the somewhat annoying pain from having his face assaulted by the little girl's hands. The little owlet felt the mood change and hooted in a happy tone, flapping its wings cutely. Lyle laughed again, let go of Ren, and picked the Little owlet up. the only thing he wouldnt do at the moment was talk, seeming not to trust his own voice.

Ren smiled as she got up and walked to the controls again. When she sat down, she put her feet on the board and grinned. "Enjoy the ride though. Twilight Town is coming up in about another few miles." She said as she was a little sad that Ratchet fixed up her mother's gummi ship, but a little happy too, cause when she would get home, then it would be about the time her parents would get up.
