Life (Heartless)

"So what now?" Ren asked as she sucked on her lollipop with a smile on her face. Candy got her into a good mood, a mood that couldn't be destroyed for anything.

"we go on a hunt we are going to see if you can survive on your own...this is where i began my journey as a loner and now we will see if you have what it takes...are you up for it?" Raiku asked looking out the window.

"I think I can." Ren said as she kicked open the glove department to the gummi ship. She pulled out a kunai and grinned. "Let's go."

"wow awesome lets go" Raiku summoned his key blade looking at it shaking his head "...i miss my old one" and walks out with Ren looking around "so lets start small Ren what do you think you can take like right there and then no problem"

"A flamingo." Ren said quickly as she pointed to the flamingo that was standing in the water. Before waiting for a reaction from Raiku, Ren ran over to a bush that wasn't far from the flamingo and hid. As soon as she thought it was safe, she ran out from behind the bush and stabbed the flamingo in the neck with the kunai. The pink bird flailed around a bit before it soon fell to the ground. "Was that good? Cause I was a lion cub for about 2 years before Yuffey found me and brought me to Yuffie..." Ren said as she walked to the pink bird.

"excellent your a deadly thing you are now lets find something more harder..." Raiku seen a lion hunting for animals near by and thought "so you were in the lion club...right...then try to take that Lion down" Raiku hid behind a bush watching the lion "well any time your ready also be careful there are cheetahs and hyenas around here also"

Ren gave a small glare to Raiku as she sighed. She knew she could do this. Not caring to wipe off the blood, she got on all fours like a lion cub and stared at the lion. The lion was stalking, just as Ren was stalking the lion. She walked on all fours where she was near it and jumped up in the air off her legs and arms for a pounce. When she landed on the lion's back, the lion reacted immediately as Ren fought. They wrestled a bit as Ren slit the lions throat and it slumped on her, crushing her a bit. The animal was still warm and Ren enjoyed the warmth as she stayed under it. From far away though, it looked like Ren had lost to the lion and it was now eating her.

"aww to bad she was going to make a good partner of mine...oh well best to beat the lion up myself "Raiku walked over to the lion then picked it up seeing it was dead already and looked at it and seen Ren "damn she is good uses the lion as cover you are just to good damn...this calls for extrema messieurs come with me child" Raiku said walking off into a carvan that seemed to get darker and darker as they walked deeper and deeper.

Ren grinned when Raiku picked up the lion's body. "I am to damn good." She gave a small wink as she stood with the blood clinging to her shirt. When he mentioned a cavern, Ren looked down and didn't say anything as she grabbed the back of his shirt so she wouldn't get lost in the darkness. "Wh... where are we... going Rai?" Ren asked innocently as the hunter had escaped her mind as she walked further into the darkness.

"i like the dark Ren...don't you?" Raiku asked walking further and further coming to a stop in complete darkness looking around in pitch darkness "ok here we are...." Raiku touches a rock and a opening opens looking down walking out into the light a huge stampede of animals all running "there...that is your test" Raiku pointed evilly "i almost died down there....lets see if you got what it takes....go down there and kill them....kill them all..." Raiku laughed evilly watching them all the animals running wild.

Ren stared wide eyed at the stampede. "Bloody crap.... I can't do that...." Her eyes were wide as she watched them. She did sigh though as she jumped on the back of a zebra and started to kill anything that got near her.

Raiku clapped as he lied he never killed them all just fell and killed a few and got his but kicked a lot laughing at Ren evilly "fool...never take a task at hand when you know it is impossible...that is the first rule of a loner..." Raiku walks back into the cave sitting near the exit they came out of.
"lets see if she lasts"

Ren had about twenty of the animals down from the hundred and fifty that ran. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out another kunai and used it. Killing another twenty more, she lost her handling on the zebra and soon fell. Luckily the animals avoided her and soon, the whole stampede was gone. "Darn it." Ren cursed as she knew she had failed.

Raiku came out hearing quite wondering if she did it and seen she had failed by her expression and by the leaving's of droppings "...good job you got almost all of them down" Raiku spoke sarcastically jumping down then picking her up then jumping up back up with her entering the cave "...now...tell me...if someone were to attack you right now would you be able to respond...cause the next task...we are going to totally take some unexpected hunter down...so..you ready?"

"I believe I could." Ren said as she looked down. She hated to fail, and for him just to be sarcastic with her on failing really made her want to punch him, yet made her feel even worse. "Who are we going to take down?" She asked.

"here he is this way" Raiku pointed standing there "ladies first" Raiku pointed into the darkness seeing if she had grown brave enough to walk in it.

Ren cringed when she saw the darkness, but let out a sigh. She just took down a few animals from a stampede, what could she not do now. Walking forward, she wondered why she was really afraid of the dark. "Okay... I'm in here Rai..." Ren said as she looked around the darkness.

"good" Raiku smiled evilly walking behind her "rule number two of a loner...never trust anyone....ever" Raiku smacks Ren in the back of her head really hard looking at her laughing evilly "also never let your guard down..." Raiku said stepping into the darkness still laughing and smiling evilly his laughs could be heard but not seen.

Ren turned and glared at Rai. "That didn't hurt." Ren said through clenched teeth. She then decided to do something similar as she grabbed both his wrists and made him defenseless as she jumped on top of him. "Never let your guard down." She mocked.

"oh damn you sure do learn fast...i guess you pass then...welcome to the loners...just one final test...me" Raiku smiled slamming her into the cave wall.

Ren flinched a bit as she was slammed into the wall. "Give me the final test." Ren said as she noticed her eyes were getting used to the darkness and she could kind of see his smile. She wondered if he could see her too as she smiled back.

Raiku smiled grabbing Ren off his back then smiling evilly setting her down rubbing her face and hair then moved into kiss her "i am very proud of you and here...is the final test"
