NEW YEARS BASH (RP EVERYONE CHUM ON!)

Twas a dark and dreery day in the Bastion of Hollow. There was not much to do, the rain kept most of the inhabitants inside, save the crazy old codger that roamed the streets shouting about "chickies" and singing illuminating songs of the "red light district". Roxas stood in the second floor of the bar, overlooking this odd side for the millionth time. He always got a chuckle out of the old bearded man.

With a drink clasped tightly in his hand he gazed down into the alcoholic sunder with a smirk before turning around to see the party going on downstairs. It was the New Year's Bash, an annual event that was held in Hollow Bastion every year upon the eve of this date. There was booze all around, drunkards and partygoers alike had gathered to partake in the different events. There was drinking games of different sorts, some played darts in the corner of the bottom floor, others danced upon the dance floor which was an elevated stage that turned slowly. The band was rather lively, playing their sitars and guitars and tamborines with such talent that would melt your face off...literally.

The events of this night were vast and endless. There was something for everyone here. One would have to be asleep to not have a jolly good time in this watering hole.

Roxas had sent out invites to everyone he knew a month in advance. He was wearing his best, a button up white shirt with black dress pants, followed by black leather shoes. With his hair freshly spiked with a new type of gel he had been trying, he was ready to get his groove on.

"Rise with the moon go to bed with the sun. Early to bed and you'll miss all the fun. Bring your wife in trouble it will never trouble you. Make her a member of the Midnight Crew. Make her a member of the Midnight Crew."

The night was young and Xion was dressed in rather dapper night time wear. Nothing too over the top but perfect for the night she was in for. Slicked down black slacks with a slightly flourished blouse. The blouse itself was the color of her eyes and small bracelets decorated with shells of the sea hung on her wrists.

Ah, The Castle gates. It strained Xion's neck to look up just to view the top of the entrance. As expected music blares through the corridors as she made her entrance, slipping through the thick crowds of civilians and eventually conquering the first floor of party goers! Then It was up stairs she found a familiar face.

"I thought I'd find you up here. Are you already slammed? Or are you at least sober enough to greet your best friend?"

It didn't take too long before a familiar and rather elegant looking face appeared in the door way. It was Xion...his long time best friend. It had been a little while since he had seen her, they had both been rather busy taking over the known worlds and totally dominating everything else.

As she made her way up the stairs he noticed her sleek attire, she looked quite lovely upon this eve. He with a smile, greeted her with a kiss on the cheek and a hug.

"Xion, you know me all too well friend. The night is young, plenty of time to get slammed, but for now, how have you been?"

"Wow, you guys sure are having fun." Yuffie said as she walked up. "So sorry I'm late, however, I am here." Sighs and plops on a seat. "Can one of you love birds pass me a vodka?"

(Btw... so sorry, we are working on a play called the Penny Dredfells.... I believe that is how it is spelled. Guess who is the stage director, head make up artist, costume designer, and assistant director. Fml)

Xion bowed her head to Roxas in greeting upon him noticing her. The Young Nobody's cheeks warming up with the tough of his lips. Xion chuckled at his comment although, there was plenty of time left in the night and plenty of time to cut loose and or keep Roxas out of trouble. Which ever came first.

"I'm well Roxas, It's good to see you."


Ah, the life of the party showed up. The very excitable and energetic Yuffie!
-- Wait, Love birds? Again with this. Xion's cheeks tinted a slight pink as she laced her hand on her hip.

"Ahah. Riiiiight." Xion huffed sarcastically ordering her friend the drink and passing it down the bar.

After greeting the lovely Xion, Roxas turned to the always foxy Yuffie and gave a quick wink as he chuckled a bit. He took yet another swig of ye ole rum before ordering up another round for the group.

"Now Yuffie, what is an angelic lady such as yerself doing in a place like this?" he said in a joking manor.


(Yuff, sounds like you're having a bit of fun at school! haha.)

"A Harsh cold lady right now, Roxas." Yuffie said as she pulled the cup to her lips.

(Oh such fun!)

Now this was the wonderful Yuffie he remembered, bitter sarcastic, yet tons of fun. He laughed a bit at her comment before taking another swig of his drink. He then proceeded to bob his head to the music going on down below.

"Where is everyone at tonight?"

"Dead or gone, maybe." Yuffie said while sighing and ouring herself a shot of vodka. She was tired of everything in her life right now and wanted to loosen up so she could party.

Roxas followed her shot with one of his own, Caribbean Rum to be exact. The island liquor slid down his gullet with a burning lustful desire. It heated him up from within and sent a chilling feeling down his spine.

"No worries hot stuff...tonight is gonna rock." Roxas said as he noticed a slight worried look fall upon Yuffie's face.

"I'm not going to worry Roxas." She said as she tossed back another shot. "I just miss them."
