Fight for Protection(kuja, yuffie)

She could feel a slight discomfort in her chest as if in a form of regret or guilt. She looked ratchet in the eyes and pressed her forehead to his.
"You don't need to feel bad about this. She will find humans with dark hearts nearly as tainted as Kuja's. Think of it as us ridding the world of dark humans that could ruin the balance."
She herself was trying to keep that mind set as she knew this would eat away at her for a while.

Ratchet thought about what she said and nodded his head a sight bit as he rested in her arms waiting for Zephyr to appear with the person the wolf would pick first. Ratchet snuggled up deeper into Talone's arms as he said "T-Thank you for helping me with this Talone, you the reason I wake up in the mornings these days."

she looked away from him as to not cry even though he has seen her cry countless times before. The sudden breeze of a wind alerted her to Zephyr standing not far from them with a rather old looking man wrapped in her aura. he was trying to struggle free as it was like he was gagged and tied by the strange substance. Talone stood up and looked to ratchet saying 'this is it' with her gaze. she then as if like lightning, grabbed the man and tore him from the aura, he let out a shorted gasp but was soon on the ground held down by Talone. she looked almost feral as she locked eyes with the man to silence him. he struggled as any being would, but not by much.
"Hurry Ratchet or i'll end up killing him..."

When Zephyr came with the target Ratchet's antennas started to twitch as he could smell the darkness from the human's heart and as soon as she pinned the human down. His eyes shifted to a red color and he leaped at the guy before shoving his head into the man's chest and ripping the heart shaped energy out. Thankfully there was no blood as the human's body shifted and changed into a Crawler nobody as it disappeared into darkness.

Ratchet though was chewing on the heart he had in his mouth while his claw like fingers looked sharper and his eyes lost that innocent look to them. Soon the heart was drained of the darkness and floated out of his mouth but his body was hungry for more and he had to fight the urge to leap at Talone as he bit down on his arm to keep control. He didn't like this he was loosing his control to his instincts.

luckily for Ratchet Zephyr noticed this and quickly disappeared and reappeared with 2 now in ensnared in her aura. Talone tried her best not to notice the strange new energy coming off of Ratchet and held down what looked to be a woman her age. She tired to snap and bite her but a quick smack across the face put an end to that. As talone went on with this she began to wonder what they were going to do with the bodies.

When the next two people appeared Talone only had a few moments to get that girl pinned down before Ratchet leaped at the girl and shoved his clawed hand through her chest and pulled out the girl's heart causing the girl's body to shift into another crawler leaving no trace of her existence behind.

He didn't eat the heart yet though as he jerked the other human out of Zephyr's Aura and tossed the poor sap over his head and onto the ground causing the rapist to yelp in pain before his heart was jerked out too making his body turn into a Dusk nobody as it left with the Crawler as well. Ratchet shoved the two hearts into his open maw and clamped down on them draining the darkness out of them, as he felt his body fill with energy.

Soon though Ratchet's mind couldn't take the strain any more as he made his wench appear and he bashed his head as he wanted to stop but his body wouldn't let him. He kept bashing his head till darkness started to seep out of his head from the wound before he fell over out cold due to his actions. His body did change though as it grew taller now from his short height to around 5'6" but other things changed too, his antenna grew out and become more crooked as his hands became more claw like than before. He also had an slight increase in muscle mass while looking a bit more humanoid though only a slight bit more.

He looked less like a dressed up Shadow Heartless and more like a dressed up Neoshadow heartless as he even gained glowing blue markings on his body. Yep he grew but he would have nightmares for weeks after this.

Talone watched in shock as she witnessed his transformation. She stayed sitting where she was as Zephyr vanished. When Ratchet began to be his brains in with his wrench intently she bolted over to him and stole the wrench from his grip. As she saw him pass out she held the new form in her arms as best she could considering he was no longer pint-sized and child like. She took a cloth fromher bag and wiped his head of any darkness still left seeping through. She then kissed the wound before holding him close. She rocked some as she played with one of his antenna, seeming like she was trying to smooth it out. She had a somewhat happy look on her face but she was crying as she spoke.
"You did very good my angel. You don't have to do this again, ever. I've got you all to myself now...my angel, sweet, innocent angel."
The smile almost looked mad as a new burden was held n her chest. She not only carried her own pains but now she knew the pain Ratchet felt would hit her stronger since he was stronger. She still did her best to almost cuddle him as she felt a throb in her chest.

Ten minutes after he had knocked himself out Ratchet finally woke up and looked around for a bit his eyes darting around looking around in a bit of blind panic before he saw Talone was crying and brought his face close to her own and kissed the tears away as he then held her close to him as he was more able to do that due to his larger size. He snuggled her close to him as he spoke in his still stuttering voice "I-I-I am so sorry you had to s-see that Talone........T-that side of me is......it the side of me that is what all heartless are like.......mindless monsters....who only devour hearts........." He didn't cry though as he had to be strong for her as she looked a mess while he stroked her back softly though he had to be extra careful due to his now longer and sharper claws.

She was startled at such an odd sensation of being held. She had no memories of being held in a loving manner such as this and did know how to respond. He smiled lossed a good bit of it's madness as her tears were kissed away. She was now in her own state of confusion as she hugged him tightly. She seemed to let out a pent up sigh and he rubbed her back right between her wings. Yet again an odd yet comforting sensation. She then had it click in her mind what he said.
"I have a mindless monster within me as well. It's a scary site to see when it has full control of me. It's like I become a completely differient being."
She dazed for a momemt but look to ratchet with a warm smile.
"Enough about darker sides, have you gotten a look at youreself yet? If you haven't notice you can't sit in my lap too well anymore."
She had him in her lap at the moment though it was a bit odd since he was so much bigger.

Ratchet was happy to fell Talone relax in his arms and for some reason he just liked holding her in his arms a lot. It was that reason why he just couldn't seem to move away as the warm feeling from holding her was just so nice, it was then that he heard that Talone admitted to having a monster inside of her as well. He then said "I-I know.....but your other form has it own beauty to it. Just kinda.......really can't appreciate it due to how it in kill kill mode." He had seen her other form when she went after Kuja and while it was scary the markings she had in that form looked pretty as it was like looking at a tiger or something. Pretty until you get to the point it starts trying to kill you and what all.

He then noticed how hard it was to be in her lap and got out of her lap as he stood up and looked at his hands to see they were more claw like as he then touched his antennas to see they were LONG as he said "Ahhhh nooooooo with them that long kids will grab at them...."

She couldn't help but laugh at Ratchet freaking out over his long antennas. She then stood up herself and took one in her hand, gently twisting the end around her finger. She still had to look down at him when she talked to him but it wasn't as bad as before.
"I like your antennas. Even in your new form they are still just as cute as before. Like a little ladybug's."
She couldn't hold back the extremely faint blush that painted her cheeks as she made these comments. She looked away as a girl with a school girl's crush. This was the teenager awakening in her as she didn't have much of one being in recovery for most of it.

Ratchet felt her grab his antenna and start to play with it which caused him to twitch a bit and let out a bit of a murmur of approval as it felt good to him at the moment. He then heard the ladybug thing and outed a bit as he then said "I handsome not cute....." He then saw the very faint blush she had on her cheeks and he grinned a bit as he poked her in the ribs softly as he said "Why you blushin Talone." he kept grinnin as he had a faint idea and though it made him blush he was having too much fun to be busy blushing.

She chuckled at him saying he's handsome no cute. Even if he didn't like, she was gonna call him cute no matter what. Her chuckle instantly stopped when he bagan to poke her ribs and ask why she was blushing. This made the blush deeper and clearly visible to anyone as she looked away with somewhat of a pout.
"I have no idea what you're talking about lady bug."
A grin came to her face calling hum that fully aware it would get to his nerves.

Ratchet grinned more so when Talone blushed even more so though her lady bug comment got him to squint at her before he started to tickle her sides as he said "What did you say Talone, I didn't quite hear you." He was being super careful with his fingers so that he wouldn't harm her but still be able to tickle her perfectly.

Just as she was going to speak again she was in a fit of laughter. She tried her best to push his hands away from her ribs but it was rather difficult as she was laughing quite hard. She then fell over to the floor, her wings acting as a cushion to her landing. She wiped some tears from the corner of her eye she was laughing so hard.
*chuckle* If you keep this*giggles* this up I'll*giggle*split a seam!"

Ratchet laughed as he saw her squirming and trying to get away from him but no matter how hard she tried he was still right on her as he kept his work up on her sides. After she finally yelled out she would split a seam he sort of blinked a bit before he figured she was just bluffing so he kept tickling her without mercy. He then said "But your laugh is so pretty, why would I want to stop hearing it?"

She was expecting him to stop but he continued the attack on his rib cage. She was barely able to understand that Ratchet liked her laugh as it was getting harder to keep oxygen in her system. As the laughter was beginning to become painful, she reached forth and began to tickle ratchet. She knew if the touch was lighter not only would she not hurt him with her claws but make the feeling sharper. She soon started to gasp for air as she laughed while tickling him back fiercely.

Ratchet soon felt Talone tickling him back and god did her claws work well on him as he started to laugh and squirm a bit too but he would not give up as he said "I *snickers* won't *haha* won't give up! Hehehehe" he even moved his antennas around to start helping him tickle her and with how they ended with such small points they would be like feathers almost on her skin.

It was getting to be highly painful as the heartless wouldn't give up. When he began to use his antennas it just became too much and she started to sob as she gasped. He wings began to flutter in a fury and her hands just clutched his overalls with a begging look in her eyes.
"*sob* stop it*gasps for air* hurts!"
she had never felt so much pain in her sides that that were stiff. She started to ouch at Ratchet once again still fluttering her wings madly.

Ratchet quickly stopped when she said it hurt as he now held her to his chest as he was now saying sorry over and over and over and said "I won't do it again, I'm so sorry!" He was freaking out that he hurt her even if it was an accident.

Talone didn't have much of a chance to catch her breath as he held her once more. She could tell her sides would be sore for a while but with the way ratchet was freaking out it was like he had sliced her sides. She hugged him back and closed her wings around them in hopes of getting him to calm. When that didn't work she did the only thing she could think after finally being able to breathe. She placed a gentle kiss on his lips as she held him tenderly. She pulled back and pressed her forehead to his with a weak smile on her lips.
"It's ok, I'm fine. I know you didn't mean to hurt me. I've never been tickled like that before. It's okay."
She actually rubbed his back between his shoulder blades hoping it would calm him the same way it relaxed her.

Her kiss was all that was needed to calm him as he sort of whimpered into the before before he looked into he beautiful eyes and snuggled his head up close to her body as she was so cute to him. He listened to her word and then said "I'll be more careful in the future if we do this again. Ok?"

she smiled as if it was to say 'okay' to him. Just as she was about to move she felt she just didn't, as if this would all crumble and she's be in the hands of a sour mood Kuja barking orders at her or tormenting her. she closed her eyes and seemed to cling to Ratchet, something uncharacteristic of her considering she was never a clingy being to begin with. she could already see the nightmares she would be having in her slumber tonight, and she didn't want any of them to become reality.

Ratchet noticed Talone clinging to him and so he wrapped his arms around her tighter and held her closer to him while kissing her head as he said "D-don't worry I'll always be with you." He then figured she would have a bad nights sleep so he said "Umm......you want to sleep with me tonight.......JUST TO HELP YOU SLEEP IS ALL! N-NOTHING DIRTY I SWEAR!" Ratchet knew that it could of been taking the wrong way so he quickly made sure to state it was a innocent thing he was after nothing sexual.

Talone couldnt help but give a small giggle at then and kiss his cheek.
"I know you didn't mean it as in mating. I think i would prefer that after all that has happened today...sleep actually sounds nice at the moment..."
he body slumped as she said this showing the fatigue she had been hiding all day. she leaned on him putting most of her weight on him and letting her wings rest on the floor around them. she could have fallen asleep right then and there in Ratchet's comforting arms.
