Description: Energy is transferred into the sword then fired off in an arc that's as wide as the sword swing and as powerful as the amount of force put behind the swing. It can pierce most physical defenses, but falters against magical defenses. If enough energy is channeled, the spell can be fired off up to five times in succession, with the MP cost retained for each wave. (EX: Xander fires three Black Waves. 15 MP is consumed.)

History: This is a basic spell Xander learned by stealing one of Zexion's spellbooks and modifying the spell for his own purpose. However, using it effectively was another story. At first, Xander could only channel enough energy to produce a wave that cut out mid-swing. However, as he grew accustomed to the practice, the number of waves he could launch was increased. This has become one of his more widely used spells, ranking right up there with Darkfall.

How strong is the magical element to the strike? You mention an arc, and that it can pierce defenses, but you don't indicate how strong a strike you're making.

As for the repeat option... I don't really see the point of spelling out that limitation, that the spell can only be recast within a single post up to five times... but if you've got the MP for it, I don't see why not.
