Appearance: As if it were some kind of biological foreshadowing, Riku's skin is very light in color, something you'd not expect of an island child. his eyes are a jarringly bright cyan, and his silver hair hangs just beyond his shoulders. Riku is tall for his age, and is visibly fit.

As for attire, Riku (When not in school, of course) usually wears the following: A black, zip-up sleeveless top, with a yellow-white zip-up vest over that. Simple, baggy blue jeans, with oddly conspicuous pockets, are held up by a black belt, studded with countless small metal spikes. As opposed to his buddy Sora, Riku's shoes, a pair of monochrome sneakers with yellow laces, are appropriately sized.

Unfortunately, after his various battles, Riku's wrist, damaged by Roxas, never healed properly. As a result, Riku now wears a heavy, black athletic brace over his left wrist, to keep from making it worse.

Personality: Riku is a very calm young man, unaffected by pressure, and extremely solid, emotionally. A bit of a competitive streak drives him to continuously improve himself. he's got no problem giving hi friends a hard time, though he never means anything by it. Guilt over his past actions still plagues him. however, knowing Sora and Kairi, not to mention Mickey, would almost constantly go out of their way to shake him out of it, he wisely suppresses these feelings. Woe be to anyone who puts his friends and loved ones in jeopardy, for they will see a rage unleashed upon them like nothing the worlds have ever known before.

Weapons: Riiku's arsenal is...Varied. With the power of Xehanort's heartless absorbed into him, Riku has access to many weapons. Swords, Keyblades, Polearms, and even the ability to call upon the heartless, as well as being capable when unarmed.

Fighting Style: Incredible speed and power are Riku's trademarks. A nimble, one-handed style is Riku' MO. this can be further supplemented by Riku's deep understanding of the Darkness, increasing all his attributes, as well as allowing attack and defense with various dark magicks.

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Affinities: Incredible strength, speed, and Dark Magic.

Weaknesses: Vulnerable to Light Magic. Some defensive weakness, due to the fighting style.

History:

Riku's desire to leave the Destiny Islands began when he heard the story of Xehanort. According to myth, Xehanort had found means to leave the world, and never returned. Meeting Terra further galvanized his desire to leave, as well as setting his future into motion; this was the first time Riku laid hands on a Keyblade.

Some time after, Riku, along with Sora, meet Kairi. Kairi's origins serve to further support Riku's desire to leave the Islands. What pushes it to an obsession, however, is the very first finding of the Secret Place. Sora left Riku's company before the Keyhole appeared. Now, Riku was certain. he had to leave!

By the time Riku hit 15, the three friends were ready to leave their little archeplagio, in a handmade raft. the day before their departure, however, was when Riku met the heartless of Xehanort. In return for the heart of his world, Riku was allowed to leave, through the Darkness. Manipulating behind the scenes, Xehanort sent Riku to Maleficent, who generously (and foolishly) taught Riku the Dark Arts. Finally, possessing Riku, Xehanort's heartless used Riku to reach Kingdom hearts, wherein he was, ultimately, destroyed.

Of course, within Castle Oblivion, Xehanort continued to torment Riku. Fighting against his own Darkness, the heartless, the Organization, and himelf, he was very nearly defeated by Zexion's use of a copy Sora. In his time of need, though, Namine made him believe in the balance of his own heart. Wielding the Darkness within the Light, Riku advanced further, eventually subduing Xehanort altogether.

Of course, the Darkness is not gone from Riku's mind. In his quest to rid his mind of its influence, Riku met Xion. Of course, what Riku saw in her was Sora. Shocked, he asks how a sham could wield a Keyblade. Moving on from this after soundly defeating her (twice), he still struggled with the Darkness within, as well as his own guilt. Of course, Riku comes to protect her from the Organization, keeping her former compatriots away. In time, he would be forced to fight the now-merged Xion-Roxas. Strangely, Riku was on the losing side, until Riku realizes that there is no escaping the Darkness, his very power. Flooding himself with power, and taking on Xehanort's form, Riku mercilessly beat down Roxas, handing him over to his associate, DiZ.

Seven Days. Seven days is all it took to restore Sora. Riku became disgusted with DiZ in this time, realizing that hi ally's only goal was petty revenge. Absconding with Namine after Sora's return, and handing her over to the rogue Axel, Riku vanished. From here, he aided Sora from in the shadows, until the battle at the World that Never Was. Riku was forced into the action, to keep Kairi safe, and, as a result, being revealed to Sora. When DiZ, now known to be Ansem the Wise, employed his data ray against Kingdom hearts, causing its destruction, Riku was restored to his true form. Standing alongside his friends, Riku helped to bring down the last remaining fragment of Xehanort, Xemnas. Reconciling with Sora after the battle, and returning home soon after, Riku settled back into a semi-normal life.

In the past year, Riku, expecting further trouble, has been training himself. Who knows what his abilities are now?
