Personality: Bitter, paranoid, conniving. Her whole life has been shaped by the fact that she is trying to force Kairi to be everything she wasn't and not make the same mistakes she did as a young woman, mistakes that ultimately cost her the ability to have children of her own. She has shaped Kairi to be the perfect, ideal girl and to be absolutely unable to defend herself in any way, shape or form. Maeve fears Riku as the embodiment of everything she is trying to keep away from her little girl, unlike Sora who is completely nonthreatening to her due to his lack of maturity. With everything happening between Kairi and Riku, Maeve's sanity stands on the edge of a psychotic break.
