My Step-father... Empty My Step-father...

At approximately 11pm Central Standard time last night, my stepfather died before I had a chance to see him. Hubbybear and I were getting ready to sleep before driving up today when we got the call from my brother.

He was a good man who loved baseball and the Cleveland Indians especially. And he absolutely adored my mother, something I can't really fault him for even with all the problems I had, and still have, with her. He was one of those rare "good ones".

He'll be missed, desperately.
