I don't know either really, I suggested this a while back but never got off the ground.

Um I support this idea too... I know there r ways we can still have these subjects of M content and keep minors out of them with codes or blocking sertain areas.

It really just making the section, putting down that only certain groups can see it. Though it would be best to make a hidden group that people can be added to by staff but can't be seen by other members. Best to keep the fact we have a m rated area a secret so parents can't get all RAWR on us.

Look, I'm uncomfortable as heck with the idea myself, mostly because of the RAWR aspect because I *think* I know how young some of you kids are.

I'm extremely uncomfortable with the notion of anyone below the age of 18 reading anything of that nature, much less writing it, and I know for a fact that putting an 18 years old requirement on that sort of a section would mean that most of those wanting it would be too young to use it.

And if I put an age-restrict of 16 on it then the loudest proponent, Yuffie, would be blocked as well, and that's just looking at what you DECLARE your ages to be in your Profiles.

That said, because Roxas is incommunicado at the moment, Riku and I discussed it and he has no problems with the idea of adding such a Hidden Forum to the Site.

However, I am considering making such a section a No Points Area so that you aren't spending ALL your time in RP over there and not in the Open sections of the site. The rules would be simple, if a thread starts to go that direction, then the participants pause that thread and start a new one in the Private section for the activities and then return to the other thread when done, inserting a Fade to Black for the benefit of anyone reading.

I still don't understand what's so darned complicated about taking it to PM or email. Yeah, you don't get posts or points for it. I don't see a problem.

As soon as I can get a good handle on what I want the restrictions to be, I'll probably be setting it in place, so get your opinions in now while the getting is good.

Pm's are more troublesome to keep up with than a simple post. Also our Pm boxes can only hold so many Pm's at once, but eh ya know what I just don't care any more about this. It a big headache dealing with it.

You don't have to be logged in to use their search engine if anyone else wishes to look into this. My only concern is, if it's this twitchy and risks the site being shut down by forumotion, is it worth it?

PM;s arent that much of a hassle. They automatically keep in order for you in your box. If it gets too filled up, then save the PM's in your Word.

Just my two cents on the position this may put the site in. Like I stated before, what anyone does behind closed doors isn't my business or concern.

Sorry, Yuffie, guys, I cannot, in good conscience, allow such a section on the site. If you want to write the hot stuff you'll have to go to PMs or Emails. As Kinzy suggested, if your PM box gets too filled up then save the messages in a Word Document.

In all honesty Grizz, whatever she does in her website, even with the same users from here RP'ing that particular material there, it wouldn't lead to any repercussions to this site, because the material written isn't RP'd in this one.

Yuffie, the only thing I would suggest is that you find a site server that permits it for your site. Anything affiliated with forumotion most likely won't allow it. So just check any servers TOS, or their search engines like I did to find all the rules on the matter before creating your site, hun.
