I wasn't aware there WAS another one. I mean, other than the one in each of the games and each game is slightly different from the others.

I'm just having a TON of fun, though.

(Edit: Unless you're talking about that Paleo Sora guy, and I don't know what he'd think about my version of the character. Everyone sees the pipsqueak differently.)

I believe in this view of Sora to be most accurate. For crying out loud the games have cut scenes that set up BL, GL, and HL. This view of Sora doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

*snort* Yeah, Grizzy told me about that Paleo Sora guy. He actually PM'ed me when I first came to the site from one of his alts. He seemed to take himself too seriously to REALLY play Sora, ya know?

I mean, really, I'm playing the BIGGEST Gary Stu in all of videogames AND I regularly invoke "Angst? What Angst?" Ya can't play a character like this and think that you're some big mondo serious character-dude.

I mean, seriously.

Sora is too much of a goof in the game with very few serious moments. a serious sora would scare the blood out of me.

Okay, Paleo Sora was not, in my opinion, the BEST example of how to play a Canon. I'll readily admit that I twist and re-interpret Canon on occasion to make things work with what I run into in RP, but he had the audacity, on the previous incarnation of this site, to LECTURE *ME* for breaking character by having Kairi choose Riku over Sora.

I take my RP seriously! When I'm playing a Canon, I make darn certain that I CAN play that Canon legitimately. I make sure I know what it is that I'm playing! This is Serious Business to me!

Yes, I'm still upset about that whole fiasco. AND the fact that the guy who was playing Riku at the time, a good friend of mine, said that the kid didn't know how to RP combat AT ALL.

Now, that said, when the site restarted here he seemed to have gained some ability with writing, but his whole ability seemed built around Overposting, which is HUGELY inflated posts with unreasonable word counts that can and will exhaust a player to the point of inability to continue if kept up long enough.

I have dealt with creative exhaustion, and so has Kinzy, and it's NOT PRETTY.

But yes, as near as I can tell the kid we've got now, as annoying as he might be, seems to have the character well in hand. (Don't let that get to your head, Sora.)

And yes, a serious Sora means something is WRONG somewhere, because he's only gotten serious in the games (again, from what I can tell), when the crap has COMPLETELY hit the fan or he's in a fight. He'll take fights seriously, but not much else.

Nods in agreement with Grizz over Canon's being played like they suppose to.* Firstly yes Grizz you play Kairi very well and to make it better you not a psycho bitch like the other Kairi I know of.........*grumbles* anyway the old Sora was a pain in the ass in every sense of the word while this new one.....he just an annoying pain in the ass only......

Back to this I also get tweaked as hell when a Char isn't played like it suppose to so that again makes annoying sora good because to be honest......I'm sure everyone in the games thought that sora was annoying when he isn't killing things for them or saving their collective ass. As for messing with a canon I do that too but only to a certain degree......to be honest the Kuja I doing on here isn't my best.....due to certain developments *damn you Yuffie for getting him drunk and such* and the lack of things to blow up and be evil to.

Xion and Roxas seem to be having their chars down thought I haven't really seen Roxas in a while......as for Yuffie.......honestly I not sure how sexually active the FF VII Yuffie was so for all I know she doing a perfect Yuffie. Oh and Sora......Get stronger quickly so I can smack you around.....Riku is all silent, Kairi doesn't like to fight, and Roxas is MIA. I need violence people ><
