Gunblade - Revolver

Type of Weapon: Sword/Gun Hybrid

Description: This is Squalls primary gunblade, being that it has not yet been upgraded yet into a stronger gunblade and has no previous forms. It is the cross between a long and lethal sword blade and also a black revolver handgun. The handgun also serves as the handle which the blade is welded to and runs along the side of the barrel. This creates the odd shape of the weapon, providing the difficulty to wield it correctly and effectively.

Elemental Alignment: Fire

Ability/Function: When the sword hits its mark an added damage effect can be added by launching a blast of fire at the opponent. This can also be done at a long range using just the fireball and now sword damage. This can travel for about ten meters before it dispiates and will be no longer worrisome. This is equal to a base fire spell.

Close/long range: Close/Ranged

History: Squall picked out this weapon when he joined Radiant Garden and began training to become a SeeD member. The gunblade was always known for its difficulty in use so when he chose this as his weapon to train with, much attention was given to him in efforts to make him proficient in wielding it because not many gunblade wielders had ever made it into SeeD. This also began the rivalry between Squall and Seifer because Seifer too had chosen a gunblade for his weapon. Thus the battle between them began to become the better wielder and make it into SeeD.

Uhm, in keeping with other weapons that have added damage features, you don't have to pay MP for that ability so long as it's only being used once in a post.

I just need an indication of how strong that additional damage is, and I suggest Light damage (like a base level Fire or Blizzard spell), and an indication of how far that fireball can travel in a straight line before fizzling out or whatever it does if it doesn't hit.
