I'm miss the days when we were on chat and we could chat and have a laugh... WHAT HAPPENED TO THOSE DAYS?! Is it me or have i drifted apart from you guys!?!?!? *Cries* I'm not on enoguh I'll force my self on after homework and go on chat!!!!!!!!! I just want those days back!!!!!

I got detention. I hate my science teacher now. my home work was this from him write a essay of the subdivisions of the hydrosphere. 0_O he gave me a more confusing assignment of "scientific method" that is all he told us "scientific method" like only those words, when we asked what he meant he said the same words... WTF DID HE MEAN!!!! Dont ask why i got detention <_<.

Venny, the reason your teacher didn't say anything more is that he obviously thought that the term was so basic that it didn't need explaining.

Obviously your teacher is unaware that his teaching is lacking or your previous education is lacking.

"Scientific Method" is a method for observation and documentation of phenomena. It's the absolute BASIS for all Scientific developments, even if some scientists edge more towards philosophy and suggesting things not supported in documented evidence and ignoring evidence they don't like.

Yes, I have my preconceptions, too. I don't like scientists who act like priests of the almighty Church of Evolution. A true scientist does not presume there is no God, he presumes nothing and therefor allows for the possibility of everything, including God, miracles, magic, and Elves.
