Geosite Terminal
Having travelled for a long period of time to get to this one, uninteresting, unimpressive and desolate world Aegus was frustrated, tired and thrown off balance. She felt like killing something, yet she didn't want to get down and dirty to actually kill something. She also had a small mission to accomplish. She had to acquire the Darkness Wavepool Kiosk; The Geosite Terminal. With that ripple of energy she would be able to search for something incredibly specific and be able to figure out the necessary steps to go about invoking it. Though, using a Geosite Terminal wasn't something many tried to do. As powerful as they are, they are guarded heavily. Even Aegus could die if she wasn’t careful, weakened as she was now.
She walked through the thick forest, traversing upon the very treetops that slung vines down for hundreds of feet below. There was thick vegitation here. She hated it. It was humid, reeked of organic soil and plantlife, and was full of noisy, stinky, and nosy animals all around. She figured it was them, not her trip, that put her in such a fowl mood. Though, she didn't have time or clothes to waste slaughtering every Ape, Monkey and Rhino that she stumbled into. She had to find a "Core Area" so she could use the "Darkness Wavelength" to possibly find a "Vein" of the Geosite Terminal. In short, she was going to be here a long, long time. Not only that, the entire fiasco could be for naught if she was killed or beaten here. She would have to be cautious and vigilant and observant of her energy usage while moving about in this uncivilized, uneducated, unremarkable gutter of a world.
Aegus jumped from one large green treetop to another, landing in the break of a few branches in the nest of others. She was surrounded by woody branches, green leaves and various types of ants. She cursed under her breath as she jumped down, falling hundreds of feet above the ground, before grasping a vine and swinging. When she swung up, reaching maximum height, she flipped, letting go of the vine, and landed hard on a harder treetop. She went up a few feet from her last location. "Such a moronic form of travel, yet I haven't any other," She said, a personal sigh coming from her. She didn't have another because she lost them. Taking only a second to morn for her losses she walked on, moving from treetop to treetop, in search for that one "Core Area".

Re: Geosite Terminal
Having traveled deep into the jungle she found nothing. Not a sliver of a hint as to just what she was looking for or any hints on where her clues could possibly be. She didn't have a hint for a hint, and it was fustrating. Aegus stopped her trek and leaned against a tree. What was she going to do now? This was the place, she was sure, but somewhere in this enormous world was a specific "Core Area" that she couldn't find. It could be any number of places.
"I wonder...Perhaps it's near the Keyhole..?" She said, before being interrupted by the voice of an ape. She turned around slowly to see a fat, mowhawk bearing Gorilla that was hooing and hahing to her as she was leaned against the bark of the tree as high as she was. Aegus was tired. Tired to the point that she was going to gut this beast for some entertainment. She jumped up, her weapon at the ready and she was about to strike the ape when it dodged her attack and started running. Aegus was angry, annoyed, and fustrated enough that she was willing to chase and capture the beast so she could vent some stress on its face.

Re: Geosite Terminal
"Beast of nature!" Exclaimed Aegus as she chased the ape. Her flowing, golden hair flew behind her like ribbons behind a streamer. Her clothes were all dark so it was bright, almost like it was flying, in the thick woods. Her body was in a running position, one leg forward and the other back, as she jumped from one treetop to the next. From the power of her jump and her form, it looked like she was almost flying through the air from a leap or jump. She did stay airborne for a good few seconds after each aerial visit.
She had been chasing the little Gorilla, but it was fast. It was insanely fast and it was slightly clever. She had been jumping, diving, weaving and, once, slashing. It had been running through falling/dead trees, over logs, through vines, over a swamp, under nests, and a number of other, tricky places and locations in order to lose her. They were smart, most of them, and they would have gotten rid of any ordinary presuer. Once she had to remove her staff from her back and slash through a large plate of bark the Gorilla threw at her.
"When I catch you...Oh when I catch you," she said, a devious smile upon her face. Aegus was quick, but not abnormally fast like this ape. The one thing she had was skill and experience though. She'd dealt with beings like this. She kept up with it, handling each trick, trap and burst of speed, with her own devious tactic or blunt maneuver. She wouldn't lose her prey once she had it locked on.
"You will NOT escape my grip," she said as it dove into a small alcove. The trees had ended so she had to jump, with all her might, out of the forest. There was an enormous body of water directly under her as she jumped. She looked like she was performing the splits in mid air, her hair almost sparkling from the clean, open air. She landed in the alcove, stabbing her staff into the side and swinging 360 degrees vertically. She kicked on the side, snatching her weapon, and triangle jumped her way after the Gorilla. The Gorilla had been crawling forwards, using holes and nooks so that it could get away. If she hadn't been chasing a infuriating beast of burden, she would have stopped to recognize the magnificent gems in the sides of the rock walls on each side or the river that crashed through at the bottom towards the body of water. The river sounds were loud and refreshing.
They both jumped out, Aegus practically on the Gorilla's non-existent tail, and she readied to separate her weapon. Just a single jump more and she would have him. The Gorilla fell straight down and Aegus, now in a release position with her back crouched, her elbows out, her right arm upon the back end of her staff and her left arm at the front, twisting the separator lock. She flew down faster. She was coming down right behind the Gorilla. Aegus looked like a dazzling missile of a woman.
She had been so focused on the Gorilla that she hadn’t seen the enormous leaves and branches under it. The Gorilla grabbed a piece of wood and Aegus fell right under it, just about to slash at it. She was smacked in the face by a leaf, hit at the legs by a branch, which caused her to rotated 180 degrees, and she was hit by another branch which caused her to flip to the right. She slid down a couple hundred branches before she managed to catch herself. Aegus looked up, she had fallen far. It was more than 100 feet. She slowly looked down and saw that the ground was only 2 feet below her.
Aegus dropped her hold on the branch and her staff came falling down in front of her. She was full of leaves and green now. She started plucking things off and pulling things out that didn't belong. How that mongrel would pay when she caught it. It made a fool out of her with that stupid stunt. If only she weren't so focused on separating it in half she would have seen it coming and killed it. Now, she couldn't see anything but it's shadow and was at the dead bottom of the trees.
There was a strong smell of musk, humidity, and vegetation. It was a hot warm down here and smelled like a barn that was just cleaned. It wasn't a great smell, but it could be worse. Aegus plugged her nose after she had strapped her weapon back to her back. She kept looking up as she watched just where the Gorilla was heading. She walked under, making sure to track each and every movement. The Gorilla may have thought things were over, but they weren't. Things had only gotten worse. Terribly worse.

Re: Geosite Terminal
Aegus followed the ape in the shadows, trailing it for a short while. She didn't know why she had waited to so long. It was like she had a special feeling about this ape. A special, particular feeling that she shouldn't kill it just yet. Aegus trailed it until she reached a large canopy of trees above her.
It didn't take much of her energy to scale up the trees and make her way into the canopy. When she did, she would notice that there wasn't one, but 8 Gorilla's all together around a human. The human had long, thick, brown hair that looked like it was twisted into braids or dreadlocks. He wore black, torn, shorts, and a brown vest that had a rope tie neck. There was a long spear on his back that had a metal head and a sharp, silver blade at the top. It wasnt stone, it was metal. He did seem a bit off form the rest and, when the ape Aegus had been chasing started to make noise that seemed like communicative grunts and shouts, the human grew angry.
"You, woman, have tried to attack Turk," He said, his voice simple and accusing. Aegus snatched her hand down to her staff and snatched it, pulling it over her shoulder, and slammed it on the grassy, thick leaves below her.
"I did. What are you going to do about it?" She would say, arrogant and cocky.
The human would make those same grunts and shouts and the other Gorilla would start to grow wild, feral, and start to jump and pound their chests. They were getting aggressive and fast, though Aegus wasn't worried or frightened by their oafish display. The human slipped the spear from his back and crouched, low, his lean body posing to strike at Aegus at the slightest twitch.
"Leave. You must leave here. You are danger. We don't like danger." He would say, that simple tone of his seemed stronger and more angry. Aegus smirked and flipped her head back as her hair was thrown. The long, amazing golden curls flew back like a wave of elegance.
"Make me leave. I am looking for the Darkness and I will not leave until I have it," She would respond and, with those words, came the man. He had flipped his spear so that the wooden end was coming at Aegus instead of the metal blade. Aegus' smirk turned into a full on smile.
Aegus side stepped the straight forward rush, jumping slightly, and brought up her staff. The moment her feet touched the ground she was already swinging with her weapon coming down aimed for the man's head. He was quick though. His reflexes were almost inhuman. He twirled the spear and managed to block the blow. Aegus switched hands on her staff, turned her body so that her right side was too his while maintaining a slowly weakening force upon the staff, and kicked for his abdomen. Once again, those reflexes sparred him the blow. The man had already jumped back, evading her kick.
The other Gorilla ran in towards Aegus. The human had a worried look on his face as they rushed forward. Danger. She was too dangerous. He was about to run in again but it was too late. Aegus had already withdrawn her weapons. With a single twist and pull she had withdrew two, long, bladed katana swords. The metal was shiny, far more shiny than The human's weapon, and the ends were black, just as the pole was, and were smooth metal.
She was quick, slashing for the waists, chests, necks, heads, arms, and lower unguarded area of the Gorilla. She slashed the first two to come towards her, downing them easily, and jumped in the air to perform a half twist where she sent her foot into the nose of another approaching Gorilla, sending it flying off the high canopy. When she landed she twisted her swords and slashed with both together, in each hand, with a heavy vertical blow. She cut a Gorilla infront of her with a deep slash. Aegus was about to be struck by one on her side and she turned her body so that her back was to it and she was running, backwards, towards it. She positioned herself to slip right through it's grasping arms and flailing attacks so that when she forced her swords at her sides with the blades behind her, she stabbed it twice. Aegus would snatch her blades from in in such a way that she would slash at the face of another nearby, downing it easily.
The last two were quicker and more angry as well as skilled. They punched, she evaded, they grabbed, and she dodged, and they tried to tackle and she flipped. After their feeble attacks were finished Aegus sent a slash to both, at the same time, with her rushing through the middle and stopping in the center. It was there that her center pieces, the middle of her weapon that conceals and houses her blades, was situated. Aegus stepped on the end piece so that one blade slipped in and the back of another slipped in. So now, her staff was longer with a katana protruding out of the end.
The man had watched it all. A woman from behind came from out of the canopy, "Tarzan what was all that-" she started, a smile on her face and her English accent strong. Her eyes grew wide as she saw all the fallen Gorilla, Turk being one of them, and blood dripping down towards the floor of the forest. It took her a moment to register Aegus in the middle of it all. Her fear and shock turned into pure rage as her face twisted into anger.
"You! You did all of this! I have the right mind to-" she started, her fist clenched and her face furious. She was going to come right over to Aegus. Aegus swung her weapon so that it hung in the air and was aimed in the direction of the woman.
"Jane, no. Danger." The man, Tarzan, would say. He was serious, but there was no significant anger showing. He was calm, in control of his emotions. Aegus was almost impressed.
"That's right. Danger. More dangerous than you could possibly realize," She would say, walking over slowly. Tarzan would grunt something and the woman, Jane, would start to back away quickly. Tarzan would rotate his spear from being infront of Jane to stop her, to being pointed at Aegus. "Continue playing games and I will destroy everything here," Aegus would say, confident and cocky as always.
"Darkness bad. You're bad. I won't let you be bad here," He would say. How futile. Aegus was stronger than this man. He was a savage. He lacked power and knowledge, even if he was gifted with agility and some impressive strength for his scrawny body. But, Aegus was a Witch of Incredible Ability. This man was outmatched, outclassed, and would be outwitted in a heartbeat. Suddenly, upon impulse, he rushed for her. There was something about her spear. Something powerful and dangerous. Aegus recognized it in less than a heartbeat. Armor penetrating magic.
Aegus fell to a knee and blocked with both hands on her weapon and aiming it infront of her body. His spear slammed into her weapon, the block done perfectly thanks to Aegus' aim and perception, and she smiled. A powerful, almost destructive, wind flew around her and Tarzan's hands and arms were cut randomly and slightly. His attack weakened as her shield was erected and, with a single swing, she cut right through his spear and cut his chest and abdomen deeply.
The man fell.
"Tarzan no!" Exclaimed the woman. The air barrier, Aeroga, was still swirling around Aegus. It repelled Tarzan as he fell down to the floor, bleeding out. The woman rushed to his aide, despite Aegus being a single swing away, and turned him unto his back. Aegus snatched the woman by the hair and dragged her on the floor of the canopy. She clawed, fought, and pulled away, but Aegus wouldn't be swayed or hurt by a mortal with her Aeroga spell in effect.
Aegus would slam her against a tree, the Areoga cutting into her clothes slightly. Aegus would ready her weapon and, since being dragged, Jane would realize just what she was in for. Jane was about to die. Her eyes lit up and her face was seconds from screaming. She tried to reach for Aegus, even on her arm, but she couldn't beat the barrier.
Tarzan forced himself to stand. He held the bladed half of his spear, "No...Don't," He would say, weak. Aegus would smile as she heard his words. This was her chance to use him and her or both.

Re: Geosite Terminal
Aegus threw the woman to the floor and she landed with a soft grunt. Aegus tossed her hair back as she stepped on the woman's back. "You will show me where the Core Area is." She said, looking at his puzzled and worried expression she sighed before placing her right fist on her hip at her side, "The place of Darkness. A place of Evil presence. A place where the Keyhole is?" she asked, wondering if it sounded like she was speaking a different language to him.
"Keyhole...I know," he said, with an ape grunt again. Aegus lit up slightly. Keyholes were always near or within Darkness. They were the keys to their destruction or creation or stability. They were the very things that attracted evil to certain worlds and, now that she would have one, Aegus was sure she would find the whereabouts of her next Core Area. Aegus stomped on Jane and she cried out. Tarzan flinched and tried to get up only to stumble.
"Great. Now, you will take us there and if you try anything she will die. She will be cut into tiny pieces," Aegus said, smiling dazzling. Tarzan nodded. He understood what she was doing. Though, his own plans to rescue Jane were underway. Aegus snatched the woman up by the hair and forced her to her feet. "Lead the way, Monkey-man," she would say, her brilliant smile all over her face. Aegus muffled a laugh as Tarzan struggled to stand and grasped the bladed end of his spear and used it as support. Blood dripped from the wound quickly.
"Tarzan no! Kill her. Don't worry about me. You should worry about yourself!" Jane protested.
"If you care for this woman you will walk and not speak. If you care for that man, you will be silent and do as I say. I have no problem killing you both now that I know the Keyhole is somewhere nearby," Aegus said, tugging Jane's hair back so far that Aegus could say it in her ear. Aegus then pushed her forward, holding unto her right arm.
Tarzan, difficultly, started to lead the way. He would take them down, back onto the ground, deep into the forest and back over by the water they had passed. When they travelled alongside it for a moment they would go up and into a large cavern.
"Keyhole...I know," he said, with an ape grunt again. Aegus lit up slightly. Keyholes were always near or within Darkness. They were the keys to their destruction or creation or stability.
Re: Geosite Terminal
White butterflies flew away from one, special place. Aegus had been taken directly to the Keyhole by Tarzan and Jane. She released the woman and she ran over to Tarzan. Aegus walked over to it and placed a hand in front of it.
There was a dark energy that flew from her body and into the place (5MP) and for a moment she stood there, closing her eyes and focusing on her Inner Mana. She concentrated upon the energy inside her, aiming to resonate with the magic she expelled. There was a slight humming and she opened her eyes, they sparked and she turned, beaming. The other two were still there, the fools. Tarzan, by this point, was barely awake. He'd lost plenty of blood and had pushed himself here all on will power and his love for the woman. Aegus would use that to her advantage again.
"This is not the Core Area, but I know where it is. The Core Area is situated in the 'Shadow Grounds' or that's what I got from it. You will take me there. I know well that you have an idea of where that is. No move," She would say, pointing her staff at Jane and Tarzan. Jane would stand and move in the way, hands up and blocking Aegus from Tarzan.
"I know where that is. Leave Tarzan out of this. He can't do anymore. I can show you," She offered and Aegus shook her head as she was at Jane in an instant. She slammed her staff down on the side of Jane's neck, just above the shoulder on the left side, and threw her to the ground. She let out a cry of pain and held her neck as the tears started to flow from her eyes. Tarzan jumped up and was using his spear to try and impale Aegus. Her swing had just ended, as in barely a second had passed, and he was coming at her. She held it, down pointed towards the ground, and the end of her staff, the opposite of what was used to strike Jane, was on her right side and up more. She pushed it forwards with a step and jabbed the end of her staff into Tarzan throwing him backwards and into the wall behind. His spear head fell from his hands and out of the entry way they came in. There was quiet a fall before it would land. He wouldn't be getting that back.
"He seems perfectly capable to me," Aegus would say, rotating her staff 640 degrees before slamming it on the ground hard. "So he will lead and you will continue to be my prisoner. Backtalk me more and you will get a lot more than just a hit," she said, smirking at how much better she was than these two. Junglefolk were as sophisticated and important as the apes they lived with. These two were garbage and they should be proud someone like Aegus decided to use them. They did nothing else but waste air and resources.
"Get up and move now, or she will suffer," she would say, dusting her pants off a bit even though they were already pretty clean. Tarzan would use the wall to brace himself as he would limp towards the exit. Jane would whimper and cry on the floor. "Same goes for you, woman," Aegus would say, frowning now. She hated crying. It was so annoying.
After leaving the Cave under the Waterfall, they had travelled back into the deep jungle and reached a section of woods that had black trees. The trees had millions of eyes within them and the ground was inky black and moved constantly. Heartless Shadows compacted into this one section. All the Darkness and Evil and Shadow of this world was forced into this one place. The Core Area would be in the center. Using this she would find the Wavelength and the Vein of Darkness and track this one place towards the Geosite Terminal. She didn't realize though that this place would be so overpopulated by evil.
"This is fair enough. You two may leave," Aegus would say, slightly turning her head to view Jane and Tarzan. Tarzan was laid back against a tree. He looked to be in torment and on the bridge of unconsciousness and consciousness. Jane was nursing him, tears streaming. She looked over at Aegus, hate in her eyes, "I hope you get ate alive!" she said to Aegus and Aegus smiled.
"Don't hope for the impossible," Aegus would say as she separated her Twin Nodashi Staff into those familiar two swords. She placed the middle piece in the center and created a twin edged staff. The blades made it almost 3 feet longer and the extra weight made it a bit more difficult to manage, but she was a professional with her weapon. Even in this state she could wield it as if it were a wooden stick.
Then, with that, Aegus stepped into the Darkness.

Re: Geosite Terminal
It was deep, dark and cool in the forest. She knew though that she had no time to explore and take her time. Though their bodies were difficult to see in this darkness, their eyes weren't. They were coming from the trees, underground and a couple even fell down from above. There was nothing but darkness here. It was like they were materializing from the very air sometimes.
Aegus swung her staff in a full 360 around her, cutting away, what fell like, 12 Shadows. She jumped, sailing over 20 more and started running. She slashed at the occasional Shadow that jumped in her way, but she was too fast for them. They couldn't materialize quick enough and, those that did, their eyes gave her enough knowledge of where to slash to keep them out of her way. As she was dashing forward a Large Body was rushing to meet her with it's forward charge. Aegus kept on it and, just before she met it, her Aeroga spell wore off. Aegus didn't worry about the spell by much, though she now realized that many Heartless stayed away because it had been there, and jumped over the Large Body. She managed to jump completely to it's back and slash behind it, it's weak point she knew, and it turned to Darkness. Now though, Neo Shadows started to form around. She didn't know how she could tell, but she could.
Aegus slashed at one and it dodged as another jumped towards her back. Aegus twisted her staff so that, as she turned, she hit it and the one that had dodged her. She hit the one jumping at her at the waist and the one behind her at the head. Two more went for a kick at her sides and, using her staff to balance her, she performed a cartwheel out of the way. They almost kicked each other. When Aegus landed she had grasped the middle of her weapon, splitting it and, using the end piece she hand in hand, cut horizontally. She split the two heartless in half and sent her weapon flying into the air. Aegus aimed her sword up and, with her accuracy and knowledge of it's position, her sword landed right in the center of the sheath and she caught the end of her second blade. Aegus twisted the blade into the staff so that it was a lance now.
Shadows were forming infront of her and with threw powerful low sweeps she ended them. Aegus ran forwards, jumping to her right to avoid another Large body and triangle jumping off some trees to evade some Neo Shadows. By the time she made it to the center she had a small army behind her. She was also, quickly surrounded. Though, it didn't matter. It didn't matter because Aegus had found the Core Area.
Aegus ran up a tree, running at a 90 degree angle for three steps and jumping up to stab her lance into the tree. She rotated around it to throw herself to the top, leaving her weapon, and landed at the very tip of the tree in the dead center of this Dark Forest.
"I will have to do this quick," she said, walking towards a black fruit in the head of the fruit. Aegus knelt down. She felt the malicious darkness coming from it. It was almost feeding the rest of the forest evil. A fruit of insane corruption and darkness; that was this forest's Core Area. Aegus moved her hand before it and, just like before, a burst of Darkness flew out and into it. She closed her eyes.
Down below, the Heartless were climbing up. She didn't have much time at all.

Re: Geosite Terminal
She opened her eyes as the Heartless were about to surround her. Aegus jumped high as they tackled where she once was. She jumped on the bodies and faces of a few and, once she had jumped over the edge of the treetops, Aegus was diving down towards the ground. The Heartless were spawning worse and worse, but they seemed to collect mostly near that fruit. It was like they were protecting it.
Aegus caught herself on her weapon, spun in a 360, and kicked away from the tree to be sent flying towards the earth. Her weapon was drawn and hacking away at all Heartless nearby. She slashed up, down, above and below and at all sides as she ran forwards. She wouldn't let them touch her or cast some sort of magic. She would end them all if they stood in her path.
"Out of the way!" She exclaimed as she hacked through 4 Neo Shadows standing in front of her. With a dive for the light she wound up outside of the Darkness. The Heartless tried to follow but they seemed trapped by an unseen barrier. Darkness to Darkness, light to light. Aegus sheathed her weapon so that it was an ordinary staff once more.
"Now to follow the Vein to it's heart. I will have the Geosite Terminal."
