Chocobo (mount)

Name: Alister (meaning the protector and helper of mankind.)

Age: the Chocobo appears to be around the age of one and a half to two years old.

Gender: female

Breed: Chocobo

Purpose: Alister is merely a companion for Roxas. Something for him to look after and something to look after him as well.

History: Roxas was walking along the beaches of Destiny Islands one bright day in the middle of the night. He could hear the soothing sounds of the waves gracefully beating against the shore. Off in the distance he could see a small, gleeming light. It looked as though someone had left their ball out on the sandy beaches, yet when he got closer he noticed it was in an oval shape. He picked it up and noted its heavy stature. Roxas knew then that it was a Chocobo egg, but he wondered how it found its way to the beach.

He placed the egg safely inside his satchel and carried on back to his hut. Roxas made sure to keep the egg nice and warm, pampering it some might say. A week or so passed by and Roxas woke up to the sound of something cracking. When he looked down beside his bed, he noticed his egg was hatching. He watched like a proud mother as the Chocobo's little beak broke away the shell that had been its home for the past several weeks. Moments later he was greeted by his new companion. He has kept it safe ever since.
