- The markings along Dove's body are visibly glowing now, even in broad daylight. It is signifying how she's reached the peak of her physical capabilities. At this point, Dove's body generates wings that allow for brief flights and easy shielding, gets covered in a thin layer of what appears to be actual soft phoenix feathers, or the markings seem to 'come off of Dove's body' and a white or black phoenix materializes.
Stamina:
- Depending on which particular form Dove is in the time varies. With wings, Dove typically stays in it for up to ten of her own posts. The feathers generally last for five of her own posts. And the phoenix itself lasts for three posts.
And once the form is gone, Dove is generally quite weakened energy wise. If she didn't take too much damage while in any form she'll recover or return to her previous state within the next three posts.
To re-enter a state, Dove first needs to build her physical activity again as after activation her activity level returns to a 'zero' state. Once she's reached her peak in physical capabilities again she re-enter one of the forms. But to do so is incredibly rare.
- The manifestation of the phoenix depends on two key factors: how intent Dove is on winning the match, and how close she is to death. Naturally, the less dangerous the situation the lesser the form of the phoenix. Her intent on winning the match also determines the strength of said form. She may be in grave danger, but if she doesn't care about winning it whatever the form that manifests is, is going to be weaker. But generally, wings are when she's winning; feathers are if its even; and the phoenix itself is when she's losing.
Phoenix Wings
Fiery wings manifest from Dove's back, this fire is generally un-harmful to Dove even if she has no powers over the fire element. Dove's defenses increase somewhat due to her wings being able to deflect weak attacks, some moderate attacks and nearly all physical projectiles save for magic based ones. They also allow Dove to take to the skies for brief excursions. She can't stay in the air for more than a post or two as the wings are incapable of supporting her weight.
Phoenix Feathers
The myth goes that a phoenix's tears can heal most any wound, but its feathers carry small healing properties as well. The soft, downy feathers are capable of healing almost any minor wounds, and can begin the process for healing moderate wounds faster. More serious wounds may be healed somewhat, but will not fully heal in any one battle. Although the feathers will disappear in time, the healing process they started will not. As such, some wounds can heal a little in battle even after the feathers are gone; however, this only applies to minor wounds. Moderate ones, even though beginning to heal quite quickly with the feather's aide slowly return to heir original pace once the feathers are gone.
Phoenix
The reason as to why this phoenix appears as white or black depends on if Dove is becoming more 'Heartless' or not. Black typically appears when Dove is in a dire situation and will do anything to save herself or kill the opponent(s). White typically appears when Dove is in trouble, but won't necessarily do anything to save herself or beat the opponent.
The phoenix itself is similar to a familiar/summoning in that it can attack or defend as needed and even heal Dove a little bit. Its healing properties lies in its feathers and acts very similar to Phoenix Feathers, only that the phoenix sheds its feathers and wherever they touch the wound is healed or begins to quickly heal (however one difference is that even when the feathers/phoenix is gone, the wounds still heal at an increased pace).
As for attacks, it attacks mostly with fire based ones or with its claws and beaks. In defense, either its wings can reach out to block attacks in certain areas (as it is of a moderate size and not huge). Its defensive capabilities are generally the same as Phoenix Wings. The phoenix may additionally sacrifice itself by taking on a mortal blow for Dove.
One other ability the phoenix has is the ability to return to Dove either 3/4 of magic points or most of her energy, revitalizing her. However, doing such will cause the phoenix to immediately disappear and it is unlikely that it will manifest again in any shape or form later on in the fight.
- The phoenix is vulnerable to water based attacks, especially in its Phoenix Form, while in Wing Form it typically reduces the wings efficiency at deflecting blows. In Feather Form water, or any other element, generally doesn't damage it.
Physically, most minor weapons will be of little use against the Phoenix or Wings; however, specialized weapons or custom ones may be able to break through them or deal damage quite efficiently.
Regarding its healing capabilities, the feathers land on Dove's body and heal wounds and stay there. Attacks used against Dove will 'phase through' the feathers and land upon her body and the feathers' healing properties kick in. Once they have either healed a minor wound or began to heal a moderate wound they will disappear, leaving the newly healed area prone to attacks again. As such, some feathers are never used and serve no purposes.
The energy taken from Dove is also quite draining. While in use, Dove generally doesn't feel its effects as her body is at its climax and performing at its very best. But after the form wears off Dove becomes tired and her movements are sluggish as her reaction times are slower than normal. Depending on damage taken, how active she was, and so forth, the time to recover takes anywhere from three posts to ten posts.
The requirements for reactivating her forms are also near impossible as she has to reach her peak of physical activity once more after recovering from using such a form.
Side Note
White symbolizes good, while black symbolizes evil. A white colored form doesn't harm Dove very much in its actual use, but a black phoenix damages Dove slightly when in use. For black, the wings do harm her. For feathers, the healing process is quickened, yes, but it cuts down on her lifespan and makes injuries after healing more devastating. For the phoenix itself, the phoenix will will be 'wild', meaning that Dove can't actually control it and as such their timing is off so attacks can miss or hit each other, and defense may be used when its not needed.
- In Dove's life she has no real idea as to how the phoenix markings on her body first appeared at all in the in first place. Argon himself never recalled seeing such markings when raising Dove either. Whether they'd been there all of her life, or was somehow triggered to appear, she didn't know and likely would never know.
The markings themselves came from her old self, from Aki. As a child, Aki had seen a phoenix once, briefly, almost fleetingly. And that memory, whether it was real or just a dream that felt all too real, stayed with her. As she had grown bedridden she had began to recall the memory more often than usual and started to draw and write about that experience, but she found that she could never get it quite right. These weren't childish drawings or stories, they were detailed and in depth, but she always felt as if it were missing something. She'd play with her elements, trying to recreate that phoenix of hers that she had seen, but she'd never been able to get it just right.
But the day came when she began to die and her soul was being ripped in two. The memory of that phoenix wavered and thinned as if she herself wasn't sure if she wanted to pass that memory on to her new souls. She never really did think about it much, but it was in the back of her mind. And as she had died and 'watched' her soul become two, she thought of her phoenix briefly. What was missing was that she could not make it alive. She could make her phoenix 2D or 3D, but it wouldn't actually be alive. And she almost tried to create a phoenix or push her soul into becoming a phoenix, but she was already weakened and no mere human can truly manipulate the souls of other beings.
Her wish and limited try had prevailed in some way though as one soul took on the memory of her dear phoenix that had acted as friend and family to her when she could not see the world with her eyes or speak with her mouth. Her darker, dangerous soul had heard her plea and taken it.
At the time the phoenix had been there to help prevent Dove from straying off towards the darker path in life at an early stage in her life. It would have never surfaced if Dove remained good and didn't dabble with dark dealings. But she had and the more she did, the more the mark became visible until one could see it if they looked close enough. It never manifested more, but it was a sign of how Dove's soul was becoming darker and darker.
Nevertheless, Dove would grow up unaware of this. That the phoenix markings on her body was in actuality something akin to a conscience. She'd think of this as nothing more than some strange occurrence that had thankfully aided her instead of hindering her. And that's all anyone could think of it. Nothing more than some strange malady that afflicted her, yet caused no pain or suffering.

Added in history, but thanks for early approval? I'm glad that you like it though considering its a choppy version of what I'd like to do, but since I'm pressured for time I'm taking some shortcuts on my usual writings.
