Description: Kairi raises both hands in front of her in a defensive stance preparatory to being the target of a magical attack (or she has jumped in front of someone who is about to be the target of a magical attack). In response to her stance and the positioning, magic flows out in the form of a brilliant light to surround and envelop her and the one(s) she might be protecting to shield them from the harm which was about to befall them. She can shield herself and up to two other people, provided that they are standing very close at the time that the shield rises. The shield absorbs the attack, preventing damage from attack spells of 10 MP or less, and reducing the damage of those spells which are higher MP.

History: Kairi is a Princess of Heart, her very essence bound to that of the Light and Kingdom Hearts. She is driven to protect those she loves as much as she is driven to learn how to fight so that she can stand as an equal partner at their sides. She had to learn how to use the essence of who and what she is as a protective measure to defend them when all other means have been exhausted.
