So basically it's just a vortex of steam?

What are the dimensions?
How far can it reach?

Um... whats the range of a normal fire spell?

However long the range is could depend on the user or the spell's power.

How many feet do you want this thing to shoot?
Is it going to be a constant stream of steam or is it going to be a compact ball of steam?
If it's a constant stream, how wide can the vortex get?

Its just a ball of steam, I edited that in. I used Kamehameha as a reference for how its formed, but if you watch DBZ it looks like a yellow Ki blast. Its not supposed to extend past the same range as a fire spell, but looking back on the games that extends for a while. So... im not entirely sure what would be an appropriate range for this technique given its a mass of superheated water molecules
